The story of Monolit, a trusted contracting company began with Károly Tóth professional tiler, who changed career path at the age of 30 and dedicated himself to the art of tiling.

I, Károly Tóth Jr., have been following my father’s professional tiler work since I was 16, and neither carry down the construction debris from the 4th floor or scrape the old paint off the walls of a bathroom under renovation discouraged me from appreciating the beauty and excitement of being a professional tiler.

Whenever it was possible, I continued to learn from my father the craft of professional tiling. After my adventurous twenties, I decided to make my childhood dream come true, to build a career in tiling and eventually continue my father’s legacy as a professional tiler in Budapest.

To honor this vision, I created a new image and identity for the business, and that’s how Monolit was born.
Today, Monolit is a professional tiling and general construction company in Budapest, focusing on clear communication with clients and creating solid foundations for every project we undertake.
